Founder/Principal of Vision Growth Fundraising
Bethany Basile founded Vision Growth Fundraising in 2017 to transform how nonprofits build and grow their fundraising.
VGF develops the systems and strategy that scale fundraising operations and elevates the language that drives them, while providing real-time feedback on live prospects and active solicitations and holding clients accountable to their own goals. The result is a networked revenue strategy that compounds over time rather than relying on instinct and repetition.
Prior to founding VGF, Bethany held leadership fundraising roles where she developed a 15-year track record of closing complex, high-value gifts. At the Roundabout Theatre Company, she secured $3.6 million in initial institutional funding to develop and launch the field's first technical theater youth workforce development program. At Northeastern University, as the primary frontline fundraiser for the School of Law and College of Social Sciences and Humanities, she closed six- and seven-figure foundation gifts for initiatives in civil rights, housing, and energy justice. As Deputy Director at the Boston Workers Circle, she led a 20% increase in annual revenue and launched the organization's second capital campaign.
VGF's current and recent clients include organizations in the arts, education, workforce development, and social justice sectors across New York, Boston, Chicago, and the Bay Area.
Bethany holds a Master of Science in Media Advocacy from Northeastern University and a BFA from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She is an alumna of Coro Leadership New York.

The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation awarded recently $750,000 to the Civil Rights and Restorative Justice Project (CRRJ) at Northeastern University School of Law to support its work in investigating and archiving acts of racial terror in the South between 1930 and the 1970s.
Northeastern Law's Center for Health Policy and Law, has been awarded a grant of approximately $500,000 from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), the nation’s largest philanthropy dedicated solely to health. The grant will support a two year project by the Center for Health Policy and Law and the Northeastern Institute for Health Equity and Social Justice Research to educate judges about the social determinants of health as a strategy to improve health and promote health equity.
The program, with substantial funding and support from the New York City Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment and the Department of Small Business Services, includes three years of training, job placement, and one-on-one mentorship with top industry professionals to ensure a smooth and successful transition from high school graduate to working theatre professional.
